A Cat a Day, Manifest Jujube to My Way!
Seven years ago, I was single, snacky, and spiritually spiraling. I deeply wanted a cat, a furry soulmate who'd boss me around and nap on my art supplies. But until that majestic furball arrived, I coped the only way I knew how: I drew a cat a day. Each sketch was a wish, a pep talk, a meow into the void. “A cat a day keeps the sad away,” I told myself (and my therapist). Then one day, bam! Jujube showed up: sassy, curious, and clearly in charge. He became my muse, my emotional support dictator, and my official inspiration director. This collection captures the whimsy, longing, and feline daydreams that led me to him.
